There are at least two band named Satanic Rites. 1) British NWOBHM band. 2) Polish death/black metal solo project. 1) Satanic Rites was a NWOBHM band. The band was formed in 1980 they released a single in 1981 followed by 2 full lengths albums in 1985 and 1987.
